With over 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Anderson has excelled as president of Lakeshore Sound Inc. since 2001. Prior to this position, he was active as sound editor at Soundelux from 1992 to 2001. He began his career as an intern at Full Sail, LLC. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He volunteered as a drum player at his local church and as a supporter of several children fundraising events.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Anderson has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He worked on over 70 feature films, numerous television and radio programs and various theme park and special venue attractions. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Sound Mixing for Live Action and Animation for his work as a re-recording mixer on “Barney & Friends Awards” in 2003, and was a two-time winner of the Golden Reel Award by the Motion Picture Sound Editors Guild.
Mr. Anderson attributes his career success to his sterling reputation within the industry. A highlight in his career was his award-winning foley editing work on the 1996 film, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” and on the television series, “Superboy.” He also prides himself on working as a ‘fix-it’ editor for a film mixed at Skywalker Sound, the country’s premier sound editing facility. He made additional contributions to the “Jurassic Park” theme park in Japan and the live “Bob the Builder” show in the United Kingdom. In the immediate future, he plans to impart his expertise to the next generation of professionals in his field.
