From a project’s perspective, Mr. Terry dabbles in project management, where he establishes laborer resources and manpower projections, keeps the project financials organized, and maintains good client relationships. He leads a team of five in the Charlotte location and helps with professional development. He participates in leadership meetings, reports revenue and backlog projections directly to the COO and the President and represents the Charlotte office.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Terry pursued an education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture in 1999. He holds a certification from the American Institute of Architects and as a registered architect in North Carolina. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Association of Medical Facility Professionals. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including being awarded Project of the Year by The Haskell Company.
After completing college and obtaining his professional degree in architecture in 1999, Mr. Terry acquired his first position in architecture at Peterson Associates, which at the time was completely dedicated to healthcare design. Over time, his interest in the healthcare industry evolved into a deep sense of purpose, knowing that the work he does has meaning to many people and provides the opportunity to impact people’s lives in a significant way. He believes that this sense of purpose is important for anyone who plans to work towards success in their chosen career.
