Ms. Schifano began her career as a third and fourth grade special education teacher with Jamestown Public Schools from 2008 to 2009.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Schifano pursued an education at Mercyhurst University, from which she initially earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary and special education in 2007. She concluded her studies at Mercyhurst University in 2008, graduating with a Master of Science in special education and applied behavior analysis. Inspired by her mother, a teacher for more than 30 years, to enter the field of education, Ms. Schifano eventually shifted her attention to the corporate world in 2018 and real estate during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Schifano has accrued several accolades throughout her career. Highlighted among the 40 Under 40 by NOVA Real Producers, she was likewise recognized among the Top 1.5 Percent of All Agents in Best Individual Sales Volume and a Top Individual Closing for July. Furthermore, she was honored as a Top Real Estate Agent in Northern Virginia in 2022 and as the Best Real Estate Agent by Washingtonian Magazine in 2023. Notably, Ms. Schifano closed more than two dozen properties in 2021, garnering around $18 million in sales.
Ms. Schifano attributes her success to her drive, hustle, dedication, and empathy towards others, as well as the influence of his interesting mentors and colleagues. Among the many highlights of her career, she is incredibly proud to have found as much success and recognition in real estate as she has despite only being in the field for less than three years. Looking toward the future, Ms. Schifano would love to have her own team so that she can help create the life that she has for somebody else while dedicating more time and attention to her community work and sharing her knowledge.
