With over 60 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Dychtwald has excelled as owner of Restaurant Rescue and at Murray G. Dychtwald Consultants since 1982. Concurrent to these postings, he found success and garnered a stellar reputation as a television personality and chef on the television series “Chef Murray Cooks.” Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Bloomfield College where he completed coursework in accounting. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He participated in the New Jersey Summer Celebration and sat on the board of directors of the Ocean County Foundation for Vocational Technical Education.

In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Dychtwald remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the American Culinary Federation and the New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was selected as team captain in the Culinary Competition of the American Culinary Federation. He and his wife were recognized as the Citizens of the Year after they contributed to relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy.

Mr. Dychtwald attributes his success to consulting, understanding the situations at hand, and his wife, who he considers an incomparable teammate. She has supported him in everything he has done and has been with him throughout the years. In the immediate future, he hopes to be able to pick and choose the customers he wants to work with and the events he wants to help out with. He aims to run the foundation to continue to honor his son.
