Christopher Lamont Stukes, Secretary III with the U.S. Secret Service, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in human resources.
With over two decades of experience, Mr. Stukes has excelled in his current position as secretary III with the U.S. Secret Service since 2023. His diverse background includes roles as a compliance monitor with the DC Department of Human Resources from 2021 to 2022, vaccination ambassador with the Anacostia Coordinating Council in 2021, voter contract specialist with Muriel Bowser for Mayor in 2014, and customer service representative for Cricket Communications from 2012 to 2013. Mr. Stukes also contributed as a fellow for Ward 8 Community in the District of Columbia with Obama for America in 2012, interned at the headquarters for WC Smith in Washington, D.C. in 2012, and offered military advisory expertise at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2011. During his formative career years in Washington D.C. between 2000 and 2008, he interned with the Democratic National Committee, monitored worksites for the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services Office of Youth Programs, served as an assistant to the president for Gotham Development, and engaged as a mural artist for the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Stukes earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, cum laude, in 2007 at Virginia Union University, and subsequently obtained a Master of Applied Social Sciences in Political Science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University in 2009. Continuing on the road of academia, he graduated with a Master of Political Science from Florida A&M University in 2010, where he concurrently became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Mr. Stukes also held notable roles including Mr. NAACP for the A&M Chapter at Florida A&M University and secretary of graduate affairs in the Student Government Association. At Virginia Union University, he excelled in the university choir, achieving distinctions as Mr. University Choir and Singing Class King.
With a dedication to fostering societal advancements, Mr. Stukes aspires to contribute significantly to humanitarian causes. His vision encompasses ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all, with a goal of running for office to effect meaningful change on a broader scale.
