Following this, he served for seven years at CDW as an education account executive. He has excelled education account executive at Apple Inc. since 2019, contributing his seasoned expertise to further educational initiatives within the company.

Spearheading the Apple Inc. team, Mr. Frelow oversees the company’s largest national account, primarily focusing on revolutionizing education. His position involves managing technology implementation within the New York City Department of Education. Amidst the pandemic, he played a pivotal role in an initiative that distributed 500,000 iPads to students in New York City for remote learning, collaborating closely with city and educational authorities. Additionally, Mr. Frelow hosted a podcast to share insights from this experience with the broader Apple Inc. organization. In a leadership capacity, he supports teaching and learning and leads the New York City Education team, playing a crucial part in interactions with the Department of Education.

He has witnessed firsthand the transformative influence of technology in education for teachers and students alike, particularly through iPad utilization. Additionally, his influential presence and impact in various fields were acknowledged with placement at #87 on the esteemed Power 100 list in New York State in 2020 and recognition as #1 Regional Sales Manager of the Year.

Mr. Frelow’s career was significantly influenced by his mother, Maxine Badgett, a trailblazing figure in IBM during the 1980s. Her experience and knowledge of leadership provided him invaluable insights into navigating the corporate world. Additionally, guidance from John Thompson, a prominent figure at IBM and later the chief executive officer of Microsoft, critically shaped his career trajectory. He was likewise inspired by his father, Dr. Robert Frelow Sr., a notable figure in school integration in Berkeley, California in 1960’s who instilled in him critical communication and writing skills that he utilizes to this day. Mr. Frelow’s professional philosophy revolves around honoring commitments and promises, underscoring the significance of effective communication and follow-through, to which he attributes his sustained success.
