Concurrent to these roles, he found further success as head of hydrogen production at Idaho Wind Energy LLC from 2011 to 2023. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at the University of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor’s degree in German. He concluded his studies at the University of Kansas where he graduated with a Master of Arts.

Mr. Vinson’s professional success can be largely attributed to his unwavering passion for his chosen field and his relentless dedication to conducting thorough research. His commitment to his work is evident in the high quality of his output and the level of expertise he brings to every project. Presently, he is operating a green hydrogen production plant for a German company. His last project was based in Montana, where he was responsible for a thousand-megawatt wind project aimed at producing green hydrogen. 

Mr. Vinson has set a clear objective for himself in the upcoming years, which involves generating greater awareness regarding the utilization of green hydrogen. This undoubtedly highlights the importance of adopting sustainable practices and ensuring a greener future for our planet. He intends to continue his efforts in developing an ammonia fueled engine for container ships which will allow shipping fleets to emit zero carbon. As global shipping accounts for 3 percent of the world’s carbon, and 90 percent of the world’s commerce is shipped on ocean transport, the impact of this carbon reduction will be significant.
