Transitioning to the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, Inc., she undertook positions with increasing responsibility, initially as a development coordinator from 2014 to 2015 and later as a special events manager from 2015 to 2018. Moving to the Housatonic Valley Association, she excelled as the annual giving and grants manager from 2018 to 2019 and advanced to assistant director of advancement from 2019 to 2020. Currently, she serves as the executive director at the Housatonic Youth Service Bureau, utilizing her extensive expertise in community outreach and organizational leadership to drive impactful initiatives.
Ms. Parker’s success reflects her strategic career decisions, each fostering growth and expertise. Her shift from the 4-H program to women’s support services led to her current leadership position, overseeing projects in this sector. Notable accomplishments encompass steering the organization through challenges, securing substantial grants, and innovating service delivery via Telehealth and school-based consultations. Moving forward, her goal is to advance her executive role by spearheading expansion initiatives, such as a capital campaign and securing a new facility. This drive aims to manage a larger organization and leave a lasting, meaningful impact.
