With decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Duffey has excelled as the co-founder and president of Dermazone Solutions since 2001, the president of Kara Vita since 2003, and the chief operating officer for NuVessl Inc. since 2018. In addition to these position, she was previously active as the director of product development with Dermazone Solutions and a contracted researcher for a feasibility study on the monetization of patented nanotechnology with Fountain Pharmaceuticals. A founding member of the Tampa chapter of the ARCS Foundation, she has likewise contributed as a donor to such organizations as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Compassion International, Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Operation Care Package, Pet Pals, Women’s Annual Giving Society, and Freedom Fighters and Children. Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Duffey pursued an education at Stonehill College, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology in 1982.

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Duffey has accrued several accolades throughout her career. Celebrated among the Top 100 Leaders in Tampa, she was recognized as a Finalist for Business Woman of the Year by Tampa Bay Business Journal in 2010 and the Iconic Women of St. Petersburg with Vision Awards in 2012. Moreover, she was nominated for the Small Business of the Year by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce in 2010 and 2011, the Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2010 and 2011, and the Good ‘Burger Awards by the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce in 2014. Attributing his success to the values of grit and grace instilled in her by her father, who was a determined and resilient entrepreneur, as well as the opportunity to work with highly skilled and dedicated colleagues over the years, Ms. Duffey was honored by the St. Petersburg chapter for eWomen Network Tampa for the Company Most Supportive to Women in Business in 2011.

Among her most noteworthy accomplishments, Ms. Duffey is incredibly proud to have established multiple subsidiaries that utilize their technologies to create reliable, fast-acting products of the highest quality that cater to the needs of consumers. She also fondly recalls partnering with Medplant to conduct research on Psilocybin for many years, with the primary goal to develop unique product formulations and commercialize them to provide consumers with non-pharmaceutical or drug-based options. In the coming years, Ms. Duffey intends to implement a structured mentoring program, particularly for young individuals who are disadvantaged, while aiming to create a platform that can offer educational resources and immediate support to individuals with acne, particularly those who may not be able to afford it.
