Title: Co-Founder
Company: Tentho
Location: Miami, Florida, United States

Giuseppe Garcia-Salamone, Co-Founder at Tentho, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accounting and business administration.

With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Garcia-Salamone has excelled as the co-founder for Tentho since 2017 and a programming board member for StartOut since 2022. During this time, he has been additionally active as a business mentor with StartOut from 2018 to 2022 and a board treasurer with the Aqua Foundation for Women from 2019 to 2021. Prior to these positions, he served as an account manager with Stride from 2009 to 2011, a board member with the Golden Gate Business Association from 2010 to 2011, and a controller with the Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc. from 2013 to 2018. He previously worked as a clerical associate with PharMerica from 2003 to 2004, a staff accountant with Atradius in 2005, and a finance supervisor with Chase from 2006 to 2007. Mr. Garcia-Salamone began his career as an accounts payable assistant with AOL in 2002.

To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Garcia-Salamone pursued an education at Montclair State University, completing undergraduate coursework before transferring to the University of South Florida, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies in 2005. He concluded his studies at Southern New Hampshire University in 2015, graduating with a Master of Science in accounting. In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Garcia-Salamone has obtained his certifications as a management accountant by the Institute of Management Accountants and an NFT expert by Blockchain Council.

Beyond his primary responsibilities, Mr. Garcia-Salamone has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. A steadfast supporter for the LGBTQ+ Community, he has contributed to his community through his involvement with Guitars Over Guns, Voices for Children, the Ariana Center, and the Aqua Foundation, for which he was appointed as a board member. He has also been affiliated with the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Government Accountants. As a testament to his stellar efforts, Tentho was recognized as the Second Fastest-Growing Company with Revenue Under $25 Million by the South Florida Business Journal in 2022 and selected for inclusion in the Inc. 5000 by Inc. Magazine.

Mr. Garcia-Salamone was drawn to his field after returning to the United States following several years of teaching English in Thailand and Korea, discovering that his passion lay in accounting prior to seeking his master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. He was also greatly inspired by three mentors, including his grandfather, Joseph Donald Kehoe; Australian entrepreneur Sue Ellen Watts; and his husband, Ricky Garcia. Looking toward the future, Mr. Garcia-Salamone hopes to become less involved in the day-to-day operations at Tentho so he may transition to a board advisory role and begin educating business owners to find their own success.
