Mr. Cohen began his career in finance as a senior associate at Focus Capital / Macquarie Capital / Giuliani CapitalFocus, where he thrived between 2006 and 2011. He subsequently contributed to global corporate development as a senior manager at Deloitte between 2011 and 2014. In 2014, Mr. Cohen established himself at Ernst and Young in several positions, first as an associate director of corporate development in the Americas advisory acquisitions department until 2018. He then advanced to become the strategic deal management associate director between 2018 and 2020. Afterward, he progressed to managing director of strategic deal management between 2020 and 2022, followed by deputy leader of the Americas strategic deals team between 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he rose to partner and deputy leader of Americas pursuits and commercial excellence, where he continues.
Mr. Cohen’s aptitude for numbers and the influence of his parents led him to pursue a degree in business. In 2004, he participated in the Business Bridge Program in corporate finance and economics at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in political science from Northwestern University in 2006. Studying on weekends while working full-time, Mr. Cohen received his Master of Business Administration from the New York University Stern School of Business in 2012. When not working, he enjoys running, fitness, golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.
