Crediting her lifelong pursuit of learning, Ms. Harlan first earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, where she majored in human ecology education, from Kansas State University in 1996. She later obtained a Master of Science in early childhood education from Emporia State University in 2002. When she isn’t working, she dedicates her time to her family, kayaking, harvesting the things they grow, and healthy living.
