Sanjay Gupta, vice president of integrated supply chain at Imbed Biosciences Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in supply chain.
With 25 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Gutpa has excelled as vice president of integrated supply chain at Imbed Biosciences, Inc. since 2022. He began his career as third officer at K.C. Maritime Limited from 1998 to 2003. He worked as second officer at Mediterranean Shipping Company in 2004. He found success as chief officer at Maersk Line from 2004 to 2009 before transitioning to the role of consultant in the Department of Marketing and Logistics at The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Gupta contributed to Philips Health Systems as project manager and commodity management specialist of strategic sourcing from 2011 to 2014 and as manager of procurement engineering and supply chain from 2014 to 2018. He garnered a stellar reputation at Accuray as manager of advanced engineering sourcing from 2018 to 2020 and as senior manager of advanced engineering sourcing and supply chain from 2020 to 2022.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Gutpa pursued an education at Indian Maritime University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in nautical sciences in 1998. He continued his academic efforts at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, completing a post graduate program in management and finance in 2010. At The Ohio State University, he obtained a Master of Engineering in business and logistic engineering in 2011. He concluded his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating with a Master of Engineering in supply chain management in 2018.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Gutpa has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He has also been active as the co-founder of COVIDCare4U.org since 2021. He has been selected as a guest lecturer many times over at The Ohio State University since 2013. He is a certified Six Sigma Lean green belt and holds certifications in MicroMaster Supply chain and for introduction to biomedical imaging.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Gutpa remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the Project Management Institute, the Association of Supply Chain Management, and the American Manufacturing Leadership Council. He authored four articles and ebooks published by MD+DI, SupplyChainBrain, SupplyChain Management Review, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with an Employee Recognition Award in 2020 and 2021.
