Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Ho pursued an education at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She continued her academic efforts at Andrews University, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in 1992. She concluded her studies at the University of Central Florida, graduating with a master’s degree in accounting in 2009.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Ho has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles: She held executive leadership roles with REACH of Central Florida, the Asian American Heritage Council Inc, United Against Poverty, The Sharing Center and the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Florida CPA, the Washington State CPA, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms Ho has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with the National Scholars Honors Award in 2009. She was selected as a distinguished leader in Central Florida for the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month on May 19, 2022, and her biography was read into the congressional record by Congressman Soto of the House of Representatives.
In the immediate future, she intends to continue engaging with the community, helping the youth, and serving the church. She lives by the words of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.: “If you can’t fly then run; if you can’t run then walk; if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
