She initiated her involvement with the same as an accountant and senior associate from 2016 to 2023. She began her career as a senior member service representative at Credit Union ONE from 1997 to 2002. She worked as an assistant project manager and executive administrative assistant at Triton Companies from 2002 to 2010 before finding success as project coordinator at SPC Construction from 2010 to 2012. At Kin-Care Services, Inc., she contributed as director of operations from 2012 to 2016.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Dazio pursued an education at Everglades University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in construction management, with honors, in 2011. She continued her academic efforts at the same, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in 2014. She obtained a certification as an enrolled agent through the Internal Revenue Service in 2023.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Dazio has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She was a member of the Audit Committee with Business and Professional Women and served as a secretary of the Englewood/Venice Chapter, where she helped raise $1,200 for a family in need. She was a former team captain of The Breast Cancer Walk for Susan G. Komen and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Lakewood Branch Business Alliance, and the Sarasota Chapter of Local Chapters of Business Women, LLC.
In the immediate future, Ms. Dazio’s plans are firmly anchored in a trajectory of continued growth and dedication to HBK CPAs & Consultants, LLC for the remainder of her career. She aspires to ascend the ranks within the firm, envisioning herself as a Senior Manager. Her ambition includes building a substantial portfolio, ideally focused on construction clients. While she doesn’t anticipate being on the partnership track, she sees herself becoming the senior director. Her aim is to have a significant voice, believing that the accounting profession has numerous outdated concepts that need a modern overhaul.
