She began her career as an English teacher at City School District Albany from 2004 to 2007. At The State University of New York at Albany, she worked as resident hall director from 2007 to 2008 and as apartment coordinator from 2008 to 2012. She was appointed to the role of business writing instructor at Bryant & Stratton College of Albany from 2008 to 2010.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Beneby pursued an education at The State University of New York at Albany where she earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and teaching in 1993 and a Master of Science in education in 2001. She obtained a license as an insurance agent in 2009. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, she has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed to the Glotta House, Equinox, and the Tri-City Christian Women’s Ministry.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Beneby remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and a board member of Women of Color Cancer Survivor Group. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Marquis Who’s Who in America. She was recognized among the Top 150 in the company and presented with The Future Award.
After joining Primerica, Ms. Beneby gained valuable knowledge and understanding of finance, particularly in investing for herself. This helped her prioritize her financial goals and manage her money better, ultimately reducing the stress in her life. She worked hard to acquire this knowledge and is now motivated to share her experience and expertise with others.
In the immediate future, Ms. Beneby has a plan to assist individuals in becoming business owners by leveraging the Primerica systems with the goal of helping them achieve financial independence. Additionally, she aims to establish affiliated offices in different states. She hopes her daughter will also achieve success and have a comfortable future, especially when she has kids. She also envisions herself becoming a senior vice president in the future.
