Mr. Higgs is a distinguished professional who has served numerous prestigious organizations throughout his career, including Tectura Corporation as a senior systems engineer between 2006 and 2008, L3 Technologies as a business development manager between 2008 and 2010, and the sales director between 2010 and 2011. He contributed his expertise to Boeing as flight crew, production, and flight test operations lead between 2011 and 2015, as the systems engineering manager for the aircraft delivery operations and new business divisions between 2015 and 2016, and as the systems engineering manager for the mission assurance and specialty engineering operations divisions between 2016 and 2017. He presently works simultaneously as the founder and principal of Wolf Management Solutions, LLC., a business coach and sales consultant for Scale Architects, and as the fractional integrator, fractional chief operating officer, and executive coach for Wolf’s Edge Integrators.
He attributed his success to his mother and a deep passion for learning. Mr. Higgs utilized these assets to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science in systems engineering and analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School. He has garnered a Certificate in Engineering Flight Test from the United States Naval Test Pilot School, Level 3 certifications in program management and test and evaluation, and Level 2 certifications in engineering and training in production, quality, and manufacturing from the Defense Acquisition University.
Mr. Higgs participates in numerous organizations, such as a board member and president of the Downtown Bellevue Residents Association between 2012 and 2018, the chair of the independent salary commission for the City of Bellevue in 2016, on the library advisory board for the City of Bellevue between 2017 and 2018, past president and board of trustees for the King County Library System between 2018 and 2022, and presently he acts as a board member for Seafair since 2020, and the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps since 2023. He has been recognized with a Defense Meritorious Service Medal by the United States Navy, the Boeing Safety Award in 2014, and the Boeing Workplace Improvement Initiative Award in 2015. He volunteers for the Youth Development Program for Sea Cadets.
In the coming years, Mr. Higgs intends to achieve financial stability to provide enough security to enjoy life with his wife after retirement. He is also working to transition to a career in keynote speaking. When he is not working, he dedicates his time and attention to snowboarding, mountain biking, good food, and good company.
