She began her career as a civil procedure, torts, antitrust, and environmental law intern at Pinheiro Neto Advogados of Brasilia, Brazil from 2005 to 2006. She worked for the Office of Commissioner Luís Fernando Schwartz as an antitrust law clerk in 2007. She was active as an intern at Trench, Rossi e Watanabe Advogados from 2007 to 2008 before transitioning to the role of clerk at the Office of Justice Eliana Calmon of the Superior Tribunal de Justiça from 2008 to 2009.

Ms. Fraga Pirnia continued her career as an associate of white-collar crimes and administrative law at Bottini e Tamasauskas Advogados in 2010. She served as division chief at the Coordination for Infrastructure and Industry at the Ministério da Justiça from 2010 to 2012. She established himself as a senior advisor of investigations at the Brazilian Antitrust Agency from 2012 to 2015. At The World Bank, she contributed as a legal consultant in 2016 and in 2020 to 2023. She found success as a consultant at the Federal Trade Commission in 2016 and at CKP Consulting, LLC since 2020.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Fraga Pirnia pursued an education in Brazil and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She continued her academic efforts at the Centro Universitário de Brasília, obtaining a Juris Doctorate in 2010. She concluded her studies at Georgetown University Law Center, graduating with a Master of Laws in international business and economic law in 2016. She holds a certification in orientation in United States law and comparative law and international law.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Fraga Pirnia has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She volunteered as a mentor for students and other young professionals at the Georgetown University Law Center. She volunteers her time to help immigrants who need help adjusting and legalizing their status and has guided many in navigating the Green Card application process. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the American Bar Association and the International Association of Women and a participant of Women in Antitrust.
