Tandy Christy Thompson, MBA, President at French Colonial America, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in French colonial restoration.
Ms. Thompson is a distinguished professional with a diverse career profile, beginning as a translator for Ralston Purina and subsequently working in a veterinary clinic for two decades. She presently contributes her expertise to French Colonial America with the National Society of the Colonial Dames in the state of Missouri, as well as the ambassador for the French Heritage Corridor. She further participates as a member of the French Heritage Society.
Attributing her success to her willingness to experiment and try new things, Ms. Thompson utilized these assets to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, with minors in French, Italian, and computer science from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1973. In 1977, she continued her studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She was recognized with the Historic Preservation Award by the Sons of the American Revolution in 2023.
