Joining JetBlue Airways marked his leadership role as the director of maintenance planning and programs in technical operations from 2018 to 2022. Presently, Mr. Mercier holds the position of senior consultant of transportation in engineering and technical services at SeaTec Consulting Inc., commencing in 2022.

He contributes significantly to various organizations, including fundraising for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and counseling with The American Legion.
