With 33 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Stemmler has excelled as president, chief executive officer, and owner at United Restoration Disaster Services since 2016. In his role, he explains and discusses the details of customers’ insurance policies and helps them find ways to save money. He began his career serving in the United States Marine Corps as a corporal from 2003 to 2007.
Mr. Stemmler began his career as a project manager at Absolute Power and Communication in 2008. He worked as a sales manager at American Dream Home Improvement from 2011 to 2015. He found success working independently from 2015 to 2016 before garnering expertise as founder and executive director of United We Restore since 2017.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Stemmler pursued an education at Waukesha Technical Community College, where he earned an associate degree in business management in 2011. He holds a certification as a HAAG inspector through Haag Global in 2021. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Home Builders Association of Michigan, the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, the Troy Chamber of Commerce, the National Small Business Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Better Business Bureau.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Stemmler has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with a Contractor Award from the Troy Awards and received a nomination for the Business Code of Ethics by the Better Business Bureau in 2023. He attributes his success to always being as honest as possible.
In the immediate future, Mr. Stemmler intends to expand the company and launch four more offices in two states before retiring in approximately five years. He is trying to make United Restoration Disaster Services into an employee-owned company before he leaves, at which point he looks forward to transitioning to the nonprofit side of business. He plans to start a management company this year and has been looking at doing apartment complexes and rentals.
