Gregory Kersh, partner and principal at EY-Parthenon, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance and consulting.
Mr. Kersh embarked on his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a concentration in finance from Morehouse College, graduating cum laude. He has since held a variety of roles across the finance and consulting sectors. His journey began as a mergers and acquisitions analyst at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Corporation, from 2005 to 2007. Following this, he transitioned to roles such as senior consultant at BearingPoint from 2007 to 2009, where he gained valuable experience in management consulting, before serving as a business valuation consultant at Communal Brands from 2009 to 2010, focusing on assessing the worth of businesses and assets.
In 2010, Mr. Kersh joined Alvarez & Marsal Holdings, LLC as an associate, where he furthered his expertise in financial advisory services before transitioning to EY as a senior consultant from 2011 to 2013. His tenure at EY saw him rise through the ranks, taking on roles such as manager from 2013 to 2017 and senior director from 2017 to 2020, where he played a key role in driving business growth and client success. Since 2011, he has been an integral part of the EY-Parthenon team, initially serving as a senior director and later ascending to the position of partner and principal in 2021. In these leadership roles, he has demonstrated his strategic vision and business acumen, contributing to the firm’s success and reputation as a trusted advisor in the consulting industry.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Kersh is deeply committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace and beyond. He currently serves as a member of the Diversity Leadership Council at EY-Parthenon and actively engages in recruitment efforts at Howard University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College. Outside of his professional and career-related activities, he is actively involved in civic initiatives, supporting educational programs at St. Phil’s School and contributing to the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the United States of America. He is also passionate about developing students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), underscoring his commitment to giving back to his community.
