His tenure with Arvest Bank commenced in 2018, initially as vice president and portfolio manager of fixed income, where he effectively managed assets for both Arvest Bank and Arvest Wealth Management. Prior to this, Mr. Monkam held the position of vice president, mergers and acquisitions, and investment portfolio manager at Bear State Financial Inc., which subsequently merged with Arvest Bank.
Mr. Monkam’s notable achievements include being the first recipient of the “40 Under 40 in Wealth Management” award by the American Banker Association in 2021 and receiving the Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 recognition. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is deeply committed to imparting financial literacy as an instructor for Junior Achievement of Arkansas, Inc.
