She participated in benefit concerts for the homeless and contributed to the Union Rescue Mission, various animal shelters, and feeding the less fortunate. She found success with her written works, including “Sanctuary: Where the Colorful Beads of Life Sparkle in Their Sacred Silence,” “Meaningful Existence: A Reflection on Hemingway’s Major Novels,” “Murm’rings of the Heart – A Collection of Poetry and Song Written to Inspire,” and “The Velvet Thorn – a Literary Novel.”

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Villa-Real has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was the recipient of the Marquis Who’s Who Humanitarian Award and the Performing Artist Award from News Media Network. She was recognized as the VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and received an honorable mention in the fiction story category for “The Velvet Thorn” by the Southern California Book Festival, the San Francisco Book Festival, and the New York Book Festival Recognition for “Murm’rings of the Heart.” In the immediate future, she hopes to become a bestselling author while continuing to write supplementary materials for her students to help them learn more efficiently.
