Since 2023, Mr. Sayre has concurrently held pivotal roles in professional development. Serving as the vice president at the Project Management Institute, he spearheads initiatives to enhance industry standards. Simultaneously, he co-founded and presides as president and chief executive officer of PM Training Services Corp., a venture dedicated to cultivating project management expertise. Alongside these responsibilities, he has been actively engaged as a mentor in the Greater Pittsburgh Region since 2013, where he shares insights and fosters growth within the community. Before transitioning into his current roles, Mr. Sayre served as a Program Manager at various organizations, including the U.S. Coast Guard, TKC Technologies, CACI, Ursa Navigation Solutions, and TEKSystems in Washington, DC, from 2006 to 2013.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sayre has remained actively involved in civic engagements, volunteering for programs such as the Coast Guard Mentoring Program, DOD SkillBridge Program, and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. He also participates in initiatives like the Combined Federal Campaign. His diverse skill set is also reflected in his certifications, including certified scrum master, disciplined agile scrum master, project management professional, and DHS program manager level ii certification. Attributing his success to his mentors and peers, he believes in the value of learning from both positive and negative experiences. He considers giving back to society his calling and takes pride in his ability to contribute positively to his community.
