John Scriver Donnelly, retired principal at Donnelly & Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business development and consulting.
With nearly 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Donnelly has excelled as principal of Donnelly & Associates for many years before retiring in 2021. He began his career as an assistant coach of the varsity football team at Dartmouth College. He worked as a consultant and board member with various companies, including many small and start-up companies. He established himself as the owner of FPD Company and FMH Company. He was affiliated concurrently with Anchor Rims and Concord Data Systems from 1975 to 1998.
Mr. Donnelly continued his career as a sales manager at the international division of Graco Inc. He was active as an accountant with Honeywell International Inc. At Graco Inc., he continued his contributions as a chief operating officer with a Japanese joint venture, chief operating officer of a European operation, and chief operating officer of North American operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for five years.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Donnelly pursued an education at Dartmouth College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and Russian history, magna cum laude, in 1957. He concluded his studies at Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in 1958. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 as a Corporal E-4, a truck driver, and retired as a Corporal E-40. He contributed as a volunteer and vestry member at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and as a board member of several local organizations.
In addition to his primary vocation, Mr. Donnelly was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career, including a commendation for service above and beyond the call of duty from the United States Army in 1962. He also received several academic honors from Dartmouth College. In the coming years, he aspires to play a role in overcoming the prevailing atmosphere of hostility and division in the United States by reaffirming cherished American principles and values.
