Mr. Gupta continued his career as an assistant manager of finance and accounts and controller at Al Dobowi Group from 2006 to 2008. At ION Geophysical Corp., he contributed as an international treasury manager from 2008 to 2012 and as a corporate finance manager from 2012 to 2014. He garnered a stellar reputation as the international business, treasury, and FP&A manager at SB International, Inc. from 2014 to 2018. He established himself as DGM treasury at Chemie Tech from 2018 to 2022.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Gupta pursued an education at the University of Calcutta, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in accountancy, economics, auditing, and taxation, with honors, in 1998. In 2001, he earned his accreditation as a chartered accountant of accountancy, auditing, taxation, and finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds certifications from the World Bank Group and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Gupta has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He held the role of treasurer at the Rotaract Club of Downtown South Calcutta. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of Rotary International.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Gupta has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was the productivity award winner at CFO in 2012. In the immediate future, he intends to develop his own business related to finance and is also looking into the oil and gas industry. His ultimate goal is to reach the highest level of seniority possible within the next five years and launch his own venture within 10 years.
