Lila Landis, LCB, CUSECO, CCEP-I, Chief Compliance Officer at SEKO Logistics, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in compliance and logistics administration.

With more than 15 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Landis has excelled as the chief compliance officer for SEKO Logistics since 2021. Prior to this position, she was active as a senior manager of global trade and an empowered official with PolyOne from 2014 to 2018, the manager of the F-35 Integration Team in the Global Transportation Department for Lockheed Martin from 2018 to 2020, and the senior manager of global transportation for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. from 2020 to 2021. She previously served as a marketing analyst for Transformer Protector Corp. between 2010 and 2011, a NAFTA/FTA compliance specialist for Champion Technologies between 2011 and 2012, and a global trade compliance manager for the Tesco Corporation between 2012 and 2014. Ms. Landis began her career as an inside technical product specialist and trade compliance specialist with Rexnord from 2007 to 2010.

To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Landis pursued an education at Alverno College, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in international business and management in 2010. She subsequently concluded her studies at the University of Houston-Victoria in 2016, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in global business with a concentration in management. In addition to these accomplishments, Ms. Landis supplemented her skill set with a U.S. customs broker license from Customs and Border Protection in 2013, her certification as a U.S. export compliance officer from IIEI International Trade Certification in 2016, security clearance from the U.S. Department of Defense in 2018, and her international certification as a compliance and ethics professional from the Compliance Certification Board in 2023.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Landis has found success as a panelist for the WorldECR Industry Panel since 2016, a founder and leader for the Dallas-Fort Worth ICPA DATA Group since 2018, a member of the advisory panel for the University of Houston Women in Leadership Program in the Bauer College of Business since 2021, a member of the regulatory compliance committee for the Air Forwarders Association since 2022, and a board member for the National Association for Small Business International Trade Education since 2023. Moreover, she has contributed to those in need through MedWish International, the United Way of Greater Lorain County, Meals On Wheels Association of America, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, and St. Ben’s Soup Kitchen. Ms. Landis has also been affiliated with The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Trade Support Network, The Women in Sanctions Network, The Society for International Affairs, The Lockheed Martin Leadership Association and The International Compliance Professionals Association.

Attributing her success to the influence of the stellar leaders who recognized her potential, Ms. Landis has been presented with a number of accolades throughout the years, including an Outstanding Student Award from The University of Houston-Victoria in 2016, The You Made A Difference Award from The PolyOne Corporation in 2016, The Bronze Award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in 2018, The Spotlight Award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. in 2019 and The Take a Bow Award from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co. in 2021. Among the many achievements of her career, she is incredibly proud of mentoring and guiding individuals to professional greatness, including administrative and executive positions at major companies in her industry. Looking toward the future, Ms. Landis aims to develop a comprehensive curriculum to be applied at universities offering a degree program in trade compliance.
