With decades of experience to his name, Mr. Trueblood has excelled as a managing partner with Trueblood Wealth Management in Lima, Ohio since 2022. Prior to this position, he was active as the first vice president, investment officer, and branch manager for Wells Fargo Advisors from 2008 to 2011 and the branch manager and first vice president for investments for Stifel Financial Corp. from 2011 to 2022. He previously served with Prudential Securities as the vice president and branch manager from 1989 to 1993 and A.G. Edwards as the first vice president, investment officer and branch manager from 1993 to 2008. Mr. Trueblood began his career with Thomson McKinnon Securities, where he found success as the vice president and branch manager between 1967 and 1989.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Trueblood pursued an education at Wabash College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1967. Though he initially debated entering a career in dentistry and psychology, his draft exemption from The Vietnam War altered his ambitions, leading him to the finance industry. He attributes his success to his family-minded approach, his professionalism, and his timeliness with his communications with clients. Having worked alongside his own son for many years, hs is incredibly proud to have maintained multiple generations of families within his client pool, extending from grandparents to grandchildren. In the coming years, Mr. Trueblood hopes to continue working in Trueblood Wealth Management’s new office building while dedicating more time to a much-deserved vacation.
