Prior to his current position, Mr. Phillips demonstrated his adeptness in various capacities within EY, including chief operational officer and tax markets leader. His journey in the accounting sector commenced after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1992. His academic pursuits continued with a Master of Science in tax from DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business in 2010. Additionally, he completed the Global Insurance Institute program at Wharton in 2006.
Beyond his primary professional commitments, Mr. Phillips is engaged in community service. He serves as a board member and the Adult League Commissioner for the Grapevine Southlake Soccer Association, a trustee for Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, and a board member of Community Connections, which supports special needs children in North Central Texas.
