Mr. Stratford previously served as the chief financial officer of The Lomas Santa Fe Group, a residential real estate services company, from 2001 to 2005 and Foursquare Properties, Inc., a privately-owned real estate development company in Carlsbad, California, from 2005 to 2009. Between 1988 and 2001, he found success as the corporate controller for the real estate investment firm Sterling Pacific Assets, a post in which he exhibited his stellar skills in auditing and financial management. Mr. Stratford began his career as an audit supervisor with Touche Ross & Co. from 1980 to 1984 before briefly working as an audit manager for Lonie & Kashiwagi, Certified Public Accountants from 1986 to 1987.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Stratford initially pursued an education in the San Francisco Community College District, where he completed undergraduate coursework. He subsequently concluded his studies at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1979. Furthermore, Mr. Stratford was enabled to achieve his academic goals through a grant, which was awarded to him by the aforementioned university.
Born and raised in the San Franciso Bay Area, California, Mr. Stratford remains dedicated to making a positive impact on his community, having contributed as a donor to a number of charitable organizations. He is also proud of his efforts as a father to his daughter, who is carving out her own career in the field of law.
Distinguished among his peers for his loyalty and significant leadership skills, Mr. Stratford has attributed his success to an unwavering determination to thrive and create value for every company for which he has worked.
