With over a decade of experience to his credit, Mr. Yousufani has carved out a distinguished career in the field of large-scale transformation and NexGen technologies. Currently excelling as a partner and leader of digital transformation at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC since 2014, he is responsible for transforming organizations to uplift revenue or reduce costs, leading the transformation organization both internally and externally. In this role, he manages a team of thousands of professionals across the globe.
Prior to this position, he was active as the head of consumer banking at Standard Chartered Bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 2008 to 2014. Previously, he served as a manager and senior consultant in strategy and operations practice at Deloitte from 2005 to 2009.
Mr. Yousufani began his career as a consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in 2001. He later held roles as lead analyst at Citi from 2002 to 2004 and program director of strategic initiatives, program manager, program management office at Wells Fargo Financial from 2004 to 2005. In addition to his primary vocation, he is a board member at Innovations Unlimited.
Laying a solid foundation for his future success, Mr. Yousufani pursued an education at Drake University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in economics and management information systems with a concentration in finance in 2001. He continued his academic efforts at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, concluding his studies with a Master of Business Administration in 2006.
Throughout his career, Mr. Yousufani has taken pride in honing three key leadership strengths. First, he excels at fostering collaboration, uniting diverse stakeholders around a shared vision and harnessing their collective expertise to achieve success. Second, he has mastered navigating complex large-scale transformations, consistently delivering high-quality results with meticulous execution and impactful outcomes in short timeframes. Mr. Yousufani attributes his success to his mentors, leadership skills, excellent team members, resilience, and perseverance. Looking ahead, he has set his sights on becoming a C-suite executive within a top 20 to 50 institution. He plans to transition from his current PwC role to take on a global leadership position. His ultimate goal is to share his knowledge and expertise with his colleagues and community members, and he also hopes to become more involved in volunteer work.
When giving advice to aspiring professionals, Mr. Yousufani emphasizes the abundance of opportunities available, likening the world to an oyster. However, he stresses that individuals must take the initiative and shape these opportunities themselves. He advises aspiring professionals to be resilient, acknowledging that they will face many challenges and setbacks. By maintaining resilience and viewing obstacles as temporary, they can ultimately succeed despite the ups and downs in their personal and professional lives.
Mr. Yousufani also encourages being a lifelong learner. He highlights the importance of absorbing knowledge and insights from everyone around you, whether it is a new graduate, an intern, an executive, or someone performing routine tasks. Each perspective is valuable and contributes to personal and professional growth.
