Dr. Amystique Y.H. Church, vice president of services at Enterprise Coaching & Development Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.

Building on nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Church has served as the vice president of services at Enterprise Coaching & Development since 2022. She joined Enterprise Coaching & Development in 2020 as the assistant vice president of service before being promoted to her current position. Concurrently with this role, she also offers her expertise as a professor, co-managing vice president and partner at Carrier Enterprise Mid-Atlantic since 2020, and as an educator at Wilmington University since 2014. From 2007 to 2014, Dr. Church worked with VBP Organization as a consultant and regional communication continuing education and workforce manager. Her early career includes a brief time as a testing administrator for TSP and eight years as a human resources technician for the Department of Public Safety.

Dr. Church’s successful career is built on a strong educational foundation. In 1988, she obtained an Associate of Arts in business administration and an Associate of Science in computer technology from Delaware Technical Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications and public relations and a Master of Arts in adult education and literacy from Delaware State University in 2009. Dr. Church earned a Doctor of Education in higher education innovation and leadership from Wilmington University in 2014 and a Doctor of Theology in biblical studies from the Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary at Northwestern University in 2017. Additionally, she completed coursework in administration and leadership at Purdue University Global. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Church is also certified in adult education program planning and Christian education curriculum and instruction. 

To remain aware of developments affecting her field, Dr. Church maintains professional affiliations with a number of pertinent organizations. She has served on the education and communications committee of the Central Delaware branch of the NAACP, the nation’s oldest civil rights organization, since 2017. Dr. Church is a board member for the League of Women Voters of Delaware and the Human Development Center. She has likewise held the position of communications chair of the Delmarva Testing Association since 2013.

Dr. Church’s many contributions have been recognized through numerous accolades. She is particularly proud of earning the Service and Leadership Award from the National College Testing Association in 2019 and the Jefferson Award for Public Service in 2012. In addition, Dr. Church was named Citizen of the Year by the Omega Hope Foundation in 2017 and Woman of the Year by Delmarva in 2009. Furthermore, she received the Zeta of the Year Award from the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and the Agape Award for Outstanding Community Service from the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance. 

Beyond her primary profession, Dr. Church has contributed to wider efforts to improve the world. She offers her services as the public relations and newsletter chair for the fundraising and grant committee of Epsilon Rho Zeta, the Delaware chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Dr. Church has also contributed to publications on adult education, social justice, education reform and the economy. 

Outside of her career, Dr. Church enjoys community service, reading, writing, music, travel and horseback riding. Moreover, she is a devoted wife and mother to six children. Dr. Church credits her success to her drive to be a source of hope for others and prioritizing kindness in every action she chooses. Looking to the future, she hopes to establish a community center to help displaced youth. She meets struggling young people through her current volunteer work and has recognized the need for such a center in her community. Dr. Church is also working on a book on the paths that adult learners can take to facilitate their journey—another example of her thoughtful approach to teaching and supporting people across generations.
