LineQuest is a leading full-service damage prevention company specializing in utility and private line locating, geographic information services mapping, and hydro services across multiple markets. His extensive career includes positions as a board member of NULCA, The Voice of Professional Locators, since 2021, and on the alumni board of directors at McMurry University since 2018, where he also served as president from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, he is the owner and operator of Broken Spoke Farms since 2013. He was the vice president of the North Texas Chapter of the Damage Prevention Council of Texas from 2022 to 2023 and served as president of the Permian Basin Running Club from 2011 to 2018. His earlier career includes being the vice president of damage prevention and safety director at Texas Pipeline Construction from 2011 to 2013 and the athletic director and instructor at Midland Academy from 2011 to 2012.
Mr. Hailey also serves on the board of the National Utility Locating Contractors Association, demonstrating his commitment to staying engaged and contributing to the advancement of his field. He pursued an education at McMurry University, earning a bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary studies in 2008, followed by a Master of Education from Hardin-Simmons University in 2011. His entry into his profession was motivated by a personal tragedy: at the age of eight, he lost his father to a work-related incident that could have been prevented. This experience instilled in him a deep desire to develop measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. One of his proudest accomplishments is achieving successful business growth while providing a much-needed service. His experience allowed him to identify a gap in the market and offer a valuable solution. In recognition of his significant contributions and leadership, he was named one of the “40 Under 40” by the Dallas Business Journal in 2024.
