Raymond B. Kalustyan, managing principal at Point North Advisors, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in professional services and financial technology.
Mr. Kalustyan’s career is marked by extensive experience in the public sector, financial services, and technology services, including consulting, application modernization, rationalization, implementation, managed services, and systems integration. Since 2020, he has excelled as a member of the Executive Forum. Previously, he served as senior vice president of public sector at Transitional Data Services (Kalustyan’s consulting client) from 2020 to 2021 and then vice president of strategy, relationship management at Fiserv from 2021 to 2022. He was vice president and general anager of Rackspace’s government solutions from 2019 to 2020. He also held a significant position at Oracle, group vice president and general manager for public sector consulting and professional services which included projects such as implementation of ERP and HCM SaaS solutions, Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service from 2015 to 2018. His tenure at Fiserv included roles as senior vice president and general manager for public sector and financial services from 2009 to 2015, as well as corporate senior vice president and managing partner from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, he held several positions at Electronic Data Systems from 2001 to 2007 and started his career at IBM. Since January of 2023, Mr. Kalustyan has been focused on expanding his firm, Point North Advisors LLC.
Prior to embarking on his professional path, Mr. Kalustyan pursued an education at Susquehanna University, earning a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1978. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in finance from American University’s Kogod School of Business in 1980. He furthered his expertise with coursework in executive education and business strategy from the London School of Business in 2005 and personal leadership insights from the University of Chicago’s Gleason School of Business in 2012.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Kalustyan founded Point North Advisors in 2020, an LLC with a dual purpose: offering strategic advisory services to chief executive officers and boards and serving as an investment vehicle for angel investments and entrepreneurial opportunities. This venture is currently his primary focus. Among his proudest achievements were establishing Fiserv Federal Systems Inc. from the ground up, transforming Oracle’s public sector consulting/ professional services business into a cloud-based capability and lastly improving the health and financials of Rackspace Government Solutions. In the coming years, he aims to expand his Point North Advisors business along the East Coast and continue advising startups and venture capitalists. Additionally, he plans to travel internationally and engage in nonprofit work, aspiring to establish a nonprofit organization focused on helping children build self-confidence and self-esteem.
