Dedicating nearly 20 years to the finance and information technology industries, Mr. Roy specializes in banking and capital markets, federal government services, digital transformations, business and operational strategy, technology strategy and delivery, practice and team building, client relationships, and alliances and partnerships. He currently excels as a partner at Guidehouse, a role he has held since 2023. His responsibilities include leading the company’s financial services technology practice and technology modernization group, helping clients in the government and commercial sectors modernize legacy systems and adopt digital transformations, and advising C-Suite executives on the best ways to transition to modern technologies and manage business and mission priorities. Additionally, he was the manager at Guidehouse from 2018 to 2019.
Prior to this, Mr. Roy was a manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 2015 to 2018, a senior consultant from 2013 to 2015, and a consultant from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in his career, he worked as a wireless performance analyst at Metrico Wireless in 2011, a product management intern at StatPoint Technologies Inc. in 2010, a technology analyst at ST-Ericsson in 2009, a technical leader at NXP Semiconductors from 2006 to 2009, a senior software engineer at Philips from 2005 to 2006, and a software engineer at Sasken from 2004 to 2005.

He furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration in strategy, marketing, and general management from Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business in 2011.
Mr. Roy attributes his success to his strong work ethic and determination, qualities shaped by his upbringing in a small village in India. Attending a military school instilled discipline and focus, and his father’s role as a scientist in India’s defense research organization fostered his technical and analytical skills. He notes that the support from his family, friends, and colleagues has been instrumental in his journey. Valuing collaboration and teamwork, he believes these elements are crucial in achieving goals and making a positive impact personally and professionally.
One of the standout moments in Mr. Roy’s career was during the COVID-19 pandemic when he and his team played a crucial role in supporting small businesses. They helped implement the CARES Act, enabling the Small Business Administration (SBA) to originate 14 years’ worth of loans in 14 days. By upgrading systems and modernizing procedures, they ensured that millions of small businesses received their Paycheck Protection Program loans. Additionally, he led the modernization of the SBA’s flagship 7a Program, a program for providing financial assistance to small businesses, creating a new operating model, and laying the foundation for digital transformation, helping small businesses survive and grow.
In the coming years, Mr. Roy aims to expand the digital practice at Guidehouse, focusing on modernizing U.S. government agencies. He plans to help these agencies overcome challenges posed by legacy technologies and processes by adopting modern technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and innovative data strategies. He aims to advance their technology maturity and digital capabilities, ensuring they are at the forefront of technology.
