His career also includes roles at Allstate Insurance Company, JCPenney, and the National Insurance Company. At National Insurance, he oversaw insurance for grocery stores, which led to his recruitment by Roundy’s to build an insurance corporation for the Midwest region. He later transitioned to real estate within Roundy’s, becoming vice president of real estate and overseeing the establishment of over 60 corporate stores.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Lestina has served as a regent of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and as a board member of the Milwaukee Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs, MACC Fund, and the Annual PGA Tournament in Milwaukee. A highlight of his career was establishing an inner-city basketball organization, providing mentorship and opportunities for young men through midnight basketball games at the Boys and Girls Club. His dedication to his profession began with his pursuit of education despite financial constraints, starting at Marquette University and continuing with night classes at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. He attributes his success to his father, a World War II veteran, who always lived life with a positive attitude. Having adopted this mindset, he sees this as one of his greatest assets. Looking ahead, he aims to maintain his physical well-being and continue making a positive impact on the lives of others.
