With over two decades of experience, Ms. Demore has distinguished herself in portfolio and project management within the insurance industry. She currently serves as the information technology (IT) portfolio manager and resource coordinator with the Knights of Columbus, a role she has held since 2024. In this capacity, she manages various projects within the IT department, works in the ServiceNow space, upgrades the delivery system, and runs reports for the chief investment officer. Previously, she served as a project manager and administrative assistant at the same company from 2017 to 2024. Her earlier roles include being a licensed sales and service representative and nationwide agent at A.J. Gambardella Associates LLC from 2013 to 2017 and an account executive at Colonna Insurance Services LLC from 2002 to 2013.
Ms. Demore’s educational background has laid a solid foundation for her professional accomplishments. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Haven in 2008, the Fellow, Life Management Institute designation from LOMA, and a Master of Business Administration in strategic leadership, summa cum laude, from the University of New Haven. Additionally, she is a certified insurance agent in accident, health, life, variable life & variable annuities with the State of Connecticut, and a certified insurance agent in property and casualty with the State of Connecticut.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Demore is an active member of the Project Management Institute Southern Connecticut Chapter and a supporter of Relay For Life since 2011, where she served as a team captain from 2012 to 2013. She also volunteers for her local church, food drives, and blood drive initiatives. Reflecting on her career, she takes pride in working full-time while pursuing her education. One of her most remarkable achievements was obtaining her master’s degree while pregnant and giving birth before graduating. She attributes her success to the guidance and support of exceptional mentors and her supportive family. Looking ahead, she is dedicated to climbing the corporate ladder at the Knights of Columbus, getting into the trenches with her team, and learning from them.
