With over two decades of experience to his credit, Dr. Hotha has established a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry, currently excelling as the global vice president of analytical laboratory operations at Veranova L.P., a role he has held since 2022. In this capacity, he oversees five global sites, manages analytical research, ensures that research and development in the biotechnology industry progresses smoothly, and manages his team. Prior to this, he was the global director of analytical laboratory operations at Johnson Matthey from 2020 to 2022, head of analytical research and development at quality control laboratory operations with Lupin from 2012 to 2020, and deputy manager of analytical and bioanalytical quality control laboratory operations at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. from 2006 to 2012. His earlier roles include research associate in analytical research and development at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited from 2004 to 2006 and research associate in analytical research and development at Aurobindo Pharma from 2003 to 2004. Laying a solid foundation for his future success, Dr. Hotha earned a PhD in analytical chemistry from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Anantapur in 2012, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2024. He is also certified as a Green Belt in operational excellence and laboratory operations by Breakthrough Management Group International in 2019. In the coming years, he aspires to reach his goal of becoming a distinguished research professional in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on oncology and other research areas to be a recognized subject matter expert and a leader in the field of science.
