He also served as fleet operations manager at Zipcar Inc. from 2017 to 2018, delivery operations manager at Tesla from 2015 to 2017, senior delivery experience specialist at Tesla from 2014 to 2015, and delivery experience specialist at Tesla from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, he was an educational counselor at Western International University from 2010 to 2012, business products specialist and Main Street Markets representative at Sentry Insurance Group from 2008 to 2010, corporate marketing coordinator at Schawk Inc. from 2007 to 2008, and assistant manager at Lifetime Fitness from 2002 to 2006.
Laying a solid foundation for his future success, Mr. O’Donnell earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2007, and a Master of Business Administration with distinction from North Park University School of Business and Nonprofit Management in 2009. His certifications include Chartered Financial Consultant and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence. He is a member of the ChargeX Consortium and the Delta Mu Delta International Honors Society, and his civic engagements include serving as a wrestling coach for the Palatine Youth Wrestling Club from 2001 to 2009 and being a member of The Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, a collaborative organization of 275 cities, towns, and villages in the Chicago region, established to address regional public policy issues and improve the quality of life for residents by fostering regional cooperation among local governments, and The Bridge Youth & Family Services. Additionally, he holds four American powerlifting records.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. O’Donnell has always been passionate about cars. Early on, he recognized the potential of electric vehicles and was fortunate to break into this emerging industry, which has proven to be highly rewarding. A tech enthusiast with a knack for finance operations, his most notable achievement was meeting with several policymakers, including Governor Pritzker, Dick Durbin, and Brad Schneider, as well as various local senators. He takes great pride in contributing to initiatives that highlight local efforts with the potential for national impact. He attributes his success to a combination of confidence, humility, and curiosity. In the coming years, he aims to continue influencing the electrification space, striving to make electric vehicle charging a seamless experience.
