Previously, he was a member of the Alumni Advisory Council at Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University from 2013 to 2016. His affiliations also include Leadership Cleveland, Third Sector Company, and the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council. Laying an educational foundation, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2003 and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University in 2005. His certifications include the Succession Planning Certificate from Third Sector Company, the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council MBE Certification, the Cleveland Small, Minority, Local and Very Small Business Certification, the Minority Business Enterprise/Encouraging Diversity Growth and Equal Business Enterprise Certification, the National LGBT Business Enterprise Certification, the Interim Executive Leadership Certificate from Third Sector Company, and completion of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.
