Additionally, he served as a technical support supervisor at Peraton from 2000 to 2022, held various managerial positions, and was a programmer for 15 years. He is also a retired full bird colonel in the U.S. Army, where he served from 1985 to 2017.
Dr. Comer has made significant contributions through his creative works, including serving as a contributing author for “The Refractive Thinker® Vol. XXIV: Mental Health,” “Leveraging Human-Centered Leadership for Mental Health and Neurodiversity Support,” “The Refractive Thinker Vol. XXV: Artificial Intelligence (AI),” and “The Intersectionality of AI Bias, Diversity, & Economic Implication,” for which he is an international best-selling co-author. Laying a solid foundation for his success, he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and information sciences and support services from Alabama State University in 1987, followed by a master’s degree in business administration and management from Troy University in 2000. Additionally, he takes great pride in having earned his Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University in 2023. He has received the Human Capital Institute Certification and has been recognized by the Salute Veterans Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership for his outstanding achievements and leadership skills.
Dr. Comer is currently exploring entrepreneurship opportunities while managing his investments in stocks, real estate, and the commercial market. He has a strong desire to create generational wealth, and after thorough research, he identified an investment group as a promising opportunity. Over the past few years, they have been steadily investing in stocks to build generational wealth through a diverse portfolio. Additionally, they have ventured into purchasing and renovating properties and are actively exploring opportunities in real estate to further expand their investments. Their target market primarily consists of families, particularly in providing housing opportunities for veterans and small to medium-income families.
