Ivo Caixeiro, executive vice president of Living Style at Fung Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sales and business development.
With over two decades of experience, Mr. Caixeiro has built a distinguished career in sales and business development, with a specialization in the furniture industry. He currently serves as the executive vice president of Living Style, Fung, where he oversees a division that designs and manufactures furniture and home furnishings for major American retailers, including Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, Walmart, and Costco. In this role, he collaborates with creative and retail professionals and frequently travels globally to work with his team in various locations. His primary focus is ensuring seamless integration and understanding of the product among field teams while maintaining its relevance to the American consumer. He directly manages nine employees and indirectly oversees 100 employees, and is responsible for product development, sales, and branding for both traditional furniture retailers and fast fashion retailers.
Prior to this, Mr. Caixeiro held several key positions at LF Products, Li & Fung Limited. He served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development From 2016 to 2019, following his tenure as Vice President of Sales from 2013 to 2016. He was a senior account manager from 2010 to 2013 and a sourcing manager from 2002 to 2010. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he is committed to civic engagement, having contributed to Universal Expert by Sebastian Conran from 2016 to 2019. He laid a solid educational foundation with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from IPAM, and further enhanced his knowledge with certifications, including a Cohort in Future Technologies and Leadership from Singularity Education Group in 2021 and completing the Leadership Program for Executives in Organizational Leadership from the Stanford Center for Professional Development in 2014. Additionally, his education in marketing management at IPAM covered a range of topics such as economics, market culture, consumer behavior, and benchmarking.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Caixeiro began his journey with Li & Fung Limited while still in university. He initially joined the company to work in sourcing, taking on a role in Europe where he contributed to the development of sourcing activities in the region. For the past 23 years, he has been with Living Style, a Fung Group Company, starting in Portugal and later moving to the United States. A significant transformation in his career has been navigating different cultures while working in various capacities within the company. He explains that the opportunity to move to the United States, become a citizen, and immerse himself in its business environment and society has been a remarkable experience for him.
In the coming years, Mr. Caixeiro is dedicated to remaining deeply committed to Living Style. He is content with his current role, focusing on building a trusted team around him and developing individuals he believes can lead the company in the future. His long-term objective is to contribute to the company’s sustained growth while nurturing a positive work culture, strong teams, and a supportive work environment. He explains that in an era where short-term gains often take precedence, he is committed to prioritizing long-term sustainability.
