Jeremy Alexander Robbins, chief executive officer and chief instructor at Krav Maga Maryland, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in martial arts.

With nearly a decade of experience to his credit, Mr. Robbins has established a successful career in martial arts education, specializing in Krav Maga. He has held a notable tenure as an instructor at Krav Maga Maryland since 2015 and currently serves as the chief executive officer and chief instructor, roles he has held since 2021. In this capacity, he teaches a diverse range of individuals, including stay-at-home moms, students, professional athletes, and those seeking self-defense skills. He also oversees member enrollment and liaises with companies to introduce self-defense training to their employees or clientele. His responsibilities include overseeing and planning seminars, teaching courses, and conducting classes for law enforcement and military personnel in hand-to-hand combat, defense tactics, and firearms.  

Mr. Robbins also develops partnerships, including their collaboration with Byrna Technologies, which specializes in non-lethal self-defense products. He plays a key role in the instructor development program, ensuring class quality assurance, planning and teaching all firearm-related courses, and assisting individuals in developing home defense plans through the Maryland State Police and the United States Concealed Carry Association. Additionally, he serves as a firearm instructor with the Maryland State Police and the United States Concealed Carry Association.  

Building a solid educational foundation, he earned a bachelor’s degree in management science and business administration from Coppin State University. He also holds numerous certifications, including Certified Force Training Instructor, Expert Level Instructor Certification from Krav Maga Worldwide, and Concealed Carry and Home Defense Instructor Certification from the United States Concealed Carry Association. His additional credentials include Certification in Active Shooter History, Certification in Incidents and Houses of Worship, Certification in Strategic Prevention and Preparation, InfraGard Certifications, and Certification in Advanced Situation Awareness Training. Furthermore, he is a qualified handgun instructor, having completed between 20 to 30 hours of industry training, and is a civilian law enforcement instructor in the Force Training Program at Krav Maga Worldwide.

Mr. Robbins is also a supporter and creator of six-week women’s-only self-defense courses offered in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. He also contributes proceeds to the House of Ruth Maryland and volunteers for various women’s events. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was honored with the Best Martial Arts Award by the Baltimore Sun in 2023 and the Best of Howard County Award in 2022. 

In the coming years, Mr. Robbins envisions Krav Maga Maryland as a leading force in promoting self-defense, with a strong focus on making the world a safer place, particularly within educational institutions. He aims to have 1,000 active members training at the school and is committed to raising awareness about personal defense, empowering individuals to protect themselves effectively. His goal is to educate people on basic defense strategies, ranging from simple awareness to responding to aggressive situations, including how to react when confronted or threatened in various settings such as social scenes or public places. Mr. Robbins emphasizes the importance of preparedness, especially given the increasing incidents reported in the media. Additionally, he plans to expand his program beyond Maryland, ensuring consistent, high-quality training across different states.
