Before transitioning to the construction industry, she was in the field of billing and administration. She worked as a billing specialist at NSN Revenue Resources from 2019 to 2020 and as a medical biller at United Surgical Partners International Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Her earlier roles include working in exterior production at Ferguson Roofing from 2016 to 2018 and as an office manager at AZZ Galvanizing from 2014 to 2016. She started her career as a secretary at St. Louis Medical Clinic from 2009 to 2010 and as an accounting specialist III at Citi from 1998 to 2002.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Fernandez has served as the parish secretary for Saint Cecilia Parish since 2012 and has been with Holy Trinity Parish since 2004. She laid a solid educational foundation with an associate’s degree in science from Instituto Doña Jimena de Gijón and has earned an insurance certification from Rooftek.
