With more than 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Kucherov has excelled as the director of consulting expert with CGI, an emerging technologies practice, since 2018. In this position, he focuses on cloud technology, the blockchain, native applications, and the development of artificial intelligence while simultaneously leading the blockchain and intelligent automation group. In addition to creating software applications, Mr. Kucherov offers his leadership to his team in building innovative solutions to revitalize the financial and healthcare sectors.
Prior to this position, Mr. Kucherov was active as the senior manager for Capgemini, a multinational leader in information technology and consulting, from 2017 to 2018. He previously served as a senior architect with The Nielsen Company from 2008 to 2017. Between 2001 and 2008, he worked as a system engineer and an information technology architect with IBM, a tenure where he was further recruited as a global architect for worldwide IBM business intelligence solutions. Mr. Kucherov began his career as a principal consultant with Price Waterhouse from 1993 to 2000, a post in which he managed consulting teams in handling complex business transformation, software development, and package implementation projects for government agencies and financial institutions.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Kucherov pursued an education at Lomonosov Moscow State University, from which he earned a master’s degree in physics in 1989. Nearly 30 years later, he continued to refine his skill set with a certification to develop Application Programming Interfaces (API) with Google Cloud’s Apigee API Platform through Google Cloud Training in 2018. In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Kucherov obtained his certification as a systems engineer.
Mr. Kucherov has attributed his success as a consultant to the vast array of clients, industries, and locations with whom he has had the opportunity to work. is clients have included such major companies as CIGNA, Citibank, Ecolab, Philips, Panasonic, Shell, and the Trade Information Network, to name a few. He is also grateful for the chance to broaden his skills and areas of expertise without being tied to a single vendor or client, a dynamic that has allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of different businesses and industries and learn from a diverse range of people. H Furthermore, Mr. Kucherov has been driven by the rapid growth of the information technology industry, having initially entered the field during the early stages of personal computing.
Among his various impressive achievements, Mr. Kucherov has achieved multiple significant milestones. Notably, he fondly recalls his efforts toward redesigning the Nielsen Buy Platform over the course of his tenure with the Nielsen Company. More recently, Mr. Kucherov is incredibly proud of implementing the design of the trusted fabric system for CGI.
