Mr. Velu’s experience also includes serving as the senior product manager at Synopsys Inc. from 2016 to 2017, the principal product manager for fuzzing and eLearning portfolios at Synopsys Inc. from 2017 to 2019, the senior director of product management and UX at Globalization Partners from 2019 to 2022, and a senior product manager at Amazon from 2022 to 2023. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at Cognizant Technology Solutions, including scrum master in 2012, senior business analyst in 2013, architecture assistant in 2013, business system implementation consultant from 2013 to 2014, and lead agile business analyst in 2014. He began his career as an assistant systems engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Mr. Velu is committed to philanthropy, supporting education through WorldVision, contributing to a local orphanage in India, and donating to various nonprofit organizations.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Velu earned a bachelor’s degree in technology and information technology from Anna University in India in 2008, followed by a Master of Science in information systems, with a focus on business information technology from Alliance Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom in 2011. He attributes his success to thriving in uncomfortable situations, a skill that has enabled him to tackle challenges head-on and continuously evolve as a problem-solver. He also believes that his extensive world travel has broadened his perspective and credits the guidance from influential mentors and a commitment to continuous learning.
