Stephanie Samoska, instructor at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in law enforcement, security, and corrections.

With nearly three decades of experience to her credit, Ms. Samoska has established a successful career in law enforcement, specializing in security and corrections. She has excelled as a mentor for the U.S. Department of Justice with the FBI since 2024 and as an instructor with the FBI since 2015. In these roles, she instructs countering violent extremism training, teaches executive-level law enforcement officers from foreign countries to identify patterns of behavior in their communities, conducts active shooter attack prevention and preparedness classes for non-law enforcement, and is involved in recruiting trainers. Her experience spans 28 years with the FBI, during which she has transitioned through various roles to her current position as an instructor. She is also multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Kazakh fluently, and is currently learning Russian, a skill she began developing while working in a Russian-speaking environment.

Her experience within the FBI also includes working as an assistant to the legal attaché at the U.S. Department of Justice in Kazakhstan from 2019 to 2020, project manager from 2006 to 2014, a senior paralegal from 2004 to 2006, a paralegal from 1997 to 2004, and administrative assistant from 1996 to 1997. In light of her impressive undertakings, she was honored with the Service to the Citizen Award from the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 2024. Additionally, she is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority, and the American Bar Association, volunteers with race committees at sailing clubs and the Special Olympics, and is involved with the National Recruitment Team at the FBI. Laying a solid educational foundation, she earned an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Johnson & Wales University in 1991 and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and police science from Northeastern University in 1998.

Ms. Samoska takes great pride in training non-law enforcement individuals to be prepared for emergencies. Her training program has been instrumental in informing and empowering the public on how to save lives. She explains that many participants leave the two-hour-long interactive training feeling empowered, stronger, and more confident in handling unexpected emergencies. She attributes her success to her genuine desire to help others and finds fulfillment in learning and sharing that knowledge to improve lives. In the coming years, if she does not retire, she will remain with the FBI or explore new government liaison or consulting roles that align with her passion for informing and empowering others.
