Pharmaco-Kinesis developed a smart implanted pump for drug delivery, which led to its eventual acquisition by Cognos Therapeutics in 2015. Additionally, he was chief executive officer of Newzaust Inc. from 1990 to 2000, founder of the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Company from 1985 to 1990, and held roles with Bechtel Corporation from 1980 to 1985.
Mr. Adell takes pride in building early-stage companies by establishing robust organizational structures to attract seed investments and secure funding for growth. He excels at recruiting top executive talent and assembling skilled technical teams with expertise in targeted industries. Reflecting on his path, Mr. Adell laid a solid educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Washington in 1980.
