His prior experience includes serving as senior project manager at PMG Project Management Group LLC from 2018 to 2021, project manager from 2015 to 2017, and assistant project manager from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, he was a graduate assistant researcher at Texas A&M University from 2012 to 2013, a project management intern at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited in 2011, an engineering intern at the National Highway Authority of India in 2010, and an engineering intern at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd in 2009. 

Additionally, Mr. Kumar dedicates his time as vice president of the Indian Graduate Student Association, secretary of the Construction Managers Association of America, and is involved with the Associated General Contractors of America and the Institution of Engineers, India. He serves as an advisory council member for the American Society of Indian Engineers and Architects, is a team leader for The Big Event at Texas A&M University, and has been the president of the American Society of Indian Engineers and Architects. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity International in 2013 and sponsors a local temple in Cyprus. In light of his impressive undertakings, he was honored with the Young Engineer of the Year award from the American Society of Indian Engineers in 2020.

Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Kumar holds a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, India, earned in 2012, a Master of Science in construction management from Texas A&M University in 2014, and a Master of Science in project management from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in 2017. He is currently an Envision Sustainability Professional, a Certified Construction Manager, and has received MCACES MII Certification from JMF Training and Support Specialist LLC. Additionally, he holds an OSHA 30-hour certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute and has completed Primavera P6 Essential Training. One of his most significant achievements was his involvement in managing the Greens Bayou trailway in Houston, which resulted in the construction of nearly 200 miles of biking and hiking trails alongside rivers and storm systems, creating connections between various neighborhoods. He credits his success to the valuable mentorship he received from his boss and surrounding himself with the right people. In the coming years, he aims to deepen his role as he expands the company’s project portfolio and is considering furthering his education.
